NDIS / EDUCATION ORDERS
Please read below for all information for NDIS or school orders
From Thursday October 3, 2024 the legislation around NDIS supports has changed.
This now means that participants and their authorised representatives:
- can only spend NDIS funding on things that are in the approved list of NDIS supports
- cannot spend NDIS funding on things in the list of non-NDIS supports.
These lists cannot include every single service or resource that a participant may require. Sensory Connect is not able to advise on individuals plans and therfore we recommend using the below questions to help ascertain if the NDIS is likely to approve and/or fund your purchase.
- Do I need this item because of my disability?
- Does it relate to what's written in my NDIS Plan?
- Does it assist with meeting my needs and contribute to positive life outcomes?
- Is it within my support budget and/or plan?
- Is it safe?
We highly recommend including any supporting documentation from your relevant allied health professional regarding your purchase.
